Hello,

I just today received my ToUcam Pro PCVC740K in the
mail today, and having previously downloaded and
installed your Saillard PWC module for Linux, and
removed the stock PWC module, when I plugged it in,
and brought up qAstroCam on Red Hat Enterprise Linux
WS v4, all worked very well.

With Saillard PWC and qAstroCam it lets me switch
between three video modes (160x120,340x240,640x480)
successfully, and also has a drop down box which will
understand the http://www.qcuiag.co.uk/ long exposure
mod if I can get around to performing it.

All appears functional - ask me any questions about
the pwc and ToUcam Pro performance, and I can answer
as I come to them.

Thank you Saillard !!! :)

Peter

PS:

Linux and the Saillard pwc (which is much bigger when
compiled than the stock pwc):

 qAstroCam]# lsmod | grep pwc
pwc 79508 1
videodev 9793 2 pwc

 2.6.9-22.0.2.EL]# ls -l
./kernel/drivers/usb/media/pwc.ko
-rwxr--r-- 1 root root 680598 Feb 5 10:45
./kernel/drivers/usb/media/pwc.ko

Stock pwc removed:

/lib/modules/2.6.9-22.0.2.EL/kernel/drivers/usb/media/pwc/
 pwc]# ls -l
total 0
