I'm using the latest release 10.0.11. with a logitech 4000 Pro (PCVC 740)

I've seen that some video greater that 320x240 need compression to be used.

But it seems that switching from un compressed mode to compressed isn't 
automatically done. I'll have to load the moduled with compression=3 to get 
640x480 resolution, and I can switch between all resolutions. (if I load the 
kernel without compression, going from QSIF to SIF or VGA only give grey 
images)

Shouldn't the driver modifiy the compression level itself ?
