Compiled from source (pwc-10.0.9.tar.bz2.tar) and replaced pwc.ko module.
To load the new module I had to first modprobe v4l1-compat and v4l2-common,
now it works ;-)
...dpkg -i pwc-modules-2.6.12-1-k7_10.0.9-1_i386.deb
would have been easier ;-)
just for curiosity, why the pwc.ko that comes with debian stock kernel does
not work? (or maybe it just doesn't complain about the missing v2l
modules...)
