I see, maybe this 2.0-hub has mainly problems with 1.1-devices.
My configuration needs more than one webcam and i decided to
put each cam into a (phys.) separate usb-channel, because one
channel isn't enough to provide sufficient bandwidth.

I'm running a ASUS-SLI board (10 ports), but at that time kernel
2.6.11 does not recognize the nForce4 chipset completely. So
i give this hub a try - but it never worked flawless with 2
cams - the pci-card solved my probs.

I think, the conceptronic-hub can't fulfill all requirements
(bandwidth) those usb-1.1 devices need - but works quite well
with (most) 2.0-devices.

Cheers
 -Rolf

BTW: You need another 2.0-hub? Take mine - it's another freebee ;-)
