Subject: | [pwc] getting a logitech orbit pan/tilt working on a 2.4 debian kernel |

hi, first off, let me say that the default pwc driver that came with the installation was enough to get an image displayed. however, now i'm trying to control the pan/tilt features of the webcam using setpwc (http://www.vanheusden.com/setpwc/) and when that program is run it reports that the driver module that is loaded isn't capable of that. so I assume from here that I need to upgrade the module. my question is this: it isn't really feasible for me to upgrade the kernel as it risks breaking other stuff, so will the new module work with 2.4? thanks for any help, nick _______________________________________________ pwc mailing list http://lists.saillard.org/mailman/listinfo/pwc |
