Hi Luc,thanks again and sorry for the spam. I downloaded the file version on top from this side http://www.saillard.org/linux/pwc/files/and did not check that the newest version is actually somewhere in the middle... with pwc-10.0.7a.tar.bz2 everyting compiles and works fine! Thanks for your effort with the webcams! \nils. The latest version is not 10.0.4. And the failed message, with the version included in the fedora core 4, is the first version released on public mailing list. This is what happens when I use the pwc.ko which comes with fedora core 4: (extraction from /var/log/messages) Jun 15 15:55:32 130-238-67-39 kernel: pwc Philips webcam module version 9.0.2-unofficial loaded.[...]When using the pwc.ko which I compile myself after changing the one line in the code (see first email I sent), then everything works fine! I stillYES BUT your little line are already included in the release past 10.0.4 AND i don't use io_remap_page_range() but remap_pfn_range() which is more correct because the memory is not mapped other io device. So please report bugs against the latest version for now it's 10.0.7a. Thanks.don't get any picture in gnomemeeting, but since the other tools can access the webcam, I think the problem must be with gnomemeeting....Some users can have an image, some not. Perhaps it's a problem with the version of gnomemeeting. Try to post a bug on their mailing list.
