Hi,

I am trying to use my PCVC690K webcam (which works fine under RHEL3 and the old pwcx module) on my laptop which has fedora core 4 installed.

I downloaded the pwc-10.0.4.tar.bz2 and tried to compile it but got the error:

/tmp/pwc-10.0.4/pwc-if.c: In function pwc_video_mmap:
/tmp/pwc-10.0.4/pwc-if.c:1621: warning: implicit declaration of function remap_page_range

I changed the call to remap_page_range to io_remap_page_range and compiled again, this time without warning.

Then I copied the new pwc.ko module over to /lib/modules/...etc.etc..
and rebooted.

Now gnomemeeting detects the webcam (which it did not do before!), but shows still no picture. Does anybody know how to solve this?

setpwc gives me the following output (if this helps?):
% ./setpwc -p
setpwc v0.9, (C) 2003-2005 by

Any help is highly welcome ;-)
