It looks like there is also a PCM-D10 coming, which incorporates 2 XLR inpu=
ts with 48V phantom power.



There are long threads on both of these recorders over at taperssection.com=
 including a test of the preamps on the A10 suggesting they might be quiete=
r than the PCM-M10. The mic input impedance on the A10 (3.9 kOhms) is lower=
 than the M10 (22 kOhms), but it still looks like it should pair well with =
EM172 mic capsules, which is my #1 requirement for a small recorder.
