Did you particularly want to record the bats with full spectrum audio, and =
in stereo? If not then it might be simpler to just get a cheap heterodyne b=
at detector, and record the output from its speaker or audio out jack if it=
 has one. Given that you have to manipulate it to hear the recordings anywa=
y, I'm not convinced audio quality matters that much with bats.=0D
