I read this at Thomann.de from a user:
"When you remove the battery, you lose the configuration. You have to
reconfigurate the time and date. However it's a problem you can bypass
simply by connecting the recorder to your computer when the recorder is
functioning, and remove the battery at this moment, because the computer
will power supply the recorder. So you can insert a new battery and
disconnect it from the computer.
It's a little complicated to configure date and time, or quality of
recording, because you have to remember how to do this: shutting down
the recorder, then put it on by pressing some key, etc. It wound be
easyer to configure it with a connected computer."
If it looses all menu configurations, not only time and date, but also
input and limiter set-ups, then I won=B4t use it for soundscapes.
I doubt that Zoom will mention such a thing in the manual, I thought you
had one.
