I'm hoping to catch a specific wind sound in the Virginia/West Virginia are= a this winter. I've been looking at cabins, with the hope to stay but also = set mics up outside within arm's (XLR) reach so I can monitor (I realize th= is is always a big gamble). I've found a couple options listed as "on top o= f the mountain" and a couple at the bottom. Is there any recommendation of = where I might be more likely hear the wind best? Thank you very much.
