Hello ArnoudIt could be =A0fun to take a couple of contact mics along. I ha=
ve got a couple of great recordings of creaking trees in the wind/sap risin=
g and because of their design, airborne (possibly human) noise is at a mini=
mum or conducted through the trees which is kind of cool as you're hearing =
through the tree. The mics are not very big. I have a couple made by Jez ri=
ley French which are excellent and very good value; they don't take up much=

However is it worth the effort of trying? Or should I take the time to go S=
equoia National Park?
If anyone has any tips or recording stories to share from yosemite (or anot=
her nice place in CA), i'dlove to hear it as preparation.
