Hi Folks, been lurking for a while but this is my first post.=0D =0D I'm in the process of upgrading my kit from a Sony M-10 with clippy EM172 m= ics, which I've mainly been using in A-B for soundscapes and birdsong.=0D =0D I've got a SD MixPre-3 ordered, so will have the option of P48 mics. Budget= is about =A3500 for mics and cables, and I've started building a DIY parab= olic and a SASS.=0D =0D First question is which budget mics do people recommend? I've been looking = at the Line Audio CM3 which look to be good value for experimenting with OR= TF etc, but is the low sensitivity a problem?=0D =0D =0D Second, has anyone got spec for mic spacing and angle in a SASS? All the l= inks I've found seem to be dead.=0D =0D =0D Thanks,=0D =0D =0D Adam=0D =0D |
