Hello, Benedikt, Samsung S2 dates probably back to 2011 or 2012. I had a Samsung S3 and the recording capability was rather poor. Things have changed a lot since then. But generally speaking I don't recommend the smartphone for field recordings, but sometimes it is possible to make reasonable things with the latest ones.
