Thanks for that Robin. High pre-amp noise was one thing I had read about wi=
th respect to the Zoom H4n / Tascam DR40.
I also like the compact body of the LS11/LS14 as I'd like a light weight /=
compact set up.
I might have a look at a few more reviews, but I suspect the LS14 might be =
the best option. I really don't think I need the facility to use XLR micro=
phones, nor do I think I will need 4 channel recording.
