Ah, that explains why my file time stamp doesn't exactly sync with the reco=
rding time I record at the beginning of each file.   I guess I should start=
 renaming them on the recorder before I copy to the computer. =0D
 For me it isn't that important because even though all of my recordings ge=
t logged into a couple of different citizen science projects, I am almost e=
xclusively recording amphibian choruses and I rarely record for more than 5=
 minutes.   Most of my recordings are under two minutes.=0D

 But I do see where this would be an issue in a very long recording.=0D
