Hi Magnus, SInce you did not mention a need to hike in to locations, I think lead-acid may be the most economical solution. Another option might be alkaline D-cells. This is just a guess but I think 20 cells (two parallel sets of 10 cells in series) might get you about 30 hours.That based on I get a bit more than 24 hours running a sd-702 on 12 cells.
