Might be a good idea to flush any potentiometers and switches with a good
quality contact spray (De-Oxit Gold comes to mind),  after the last water
rinse and before drying. Also, if there are any headers (removable pin
connectors) or 'flex' connectors, disconnect them prior to the rinse. Same
for anything else that is an obvious water trap.  Take pictures first so
you can get them back where they belong.
