Hi Andrew
I think David Brinicombe have already give the best answer. Just take
enough batteries .
I have use Li-Po batteries because of fast charging possibilities. But they
must have external low voltage circuit to turn of the battery before the
voltage goes below 3.0 volt pr. sell. So Li-Po can be complicate for
someone.
I use 7 series recorders. So I have made a simple switch-box for two Sony
NP-F batteries where I can switch and replace batteries without turn off
the recording. I think this is the best solution. I have 14 pics of NP-F
batteries. Some of them are old, or are low quality, so some of the will
not run for a long time while other can run for hours. This switch-box make
it possible I can use them all, even though some of them will not run
longer than one hour...and run the recorder for a days without turn of
I use then three double docks changers to charge all the battery over night=
.
