You don't need an expensive tripod and head combination to hold the microph=
ones. A second-hand photographic lighting stand will do the trick, and it h=
as the advantage that it should be threaded for a =E2=85=9C" screw thread, =
as used by Rycote. I got a Manfrotto stand for less than =C2=A325-00.
