Better than a sound devices!! Considering the pre-amps on the SD are some o= f the best I have ever used this is a brave statement! When I switched over= from analog all those years ago and using my trusty nagra recorders, sound= devices blow the opposition out of the equation in my opinion. I've taken = them to the arctic, Mount Everest, the jungles of Africa, Central America a= nd never once have they let me down in performance or quality. Sure the son= y D50 is a good little recorder but to compare to the SD? Martyn Martyn Stewart WWW.naturesound.org > On Apr 13, 2014, at 7:01 PM, peter <> wrote: > > I have the D50 and love it. Sure, it doesn=E2=80=99t have XLR inputs, but= I use a Mixy field mixer and get the same quality (or better) than an SD. |
