Nt1a have only one membrane so it does not have fig-8 option as David

NT2a have multi pattern capsule and it sounds almost as NT1a
But this remind my I have similar question about Promo EM172 omni capsule.
Can I change them into cardioid? (I like to make my own "Soundfield"
multi channel mic)
Is there any simple solution to change the "sensitivity pattern".
