> What does everyone else do to avoid this problem, those of you who use 3.= 5mm connectors? Peter, Keep them dry and clean at all times. They are not really suitable for fiel= d use, so you have to give them "home" treatment. :-) I like to use gold plated leads which crackle less when moved. There is a tiny area of contact with 3.5mm as compared with bigger plugs. David Brinicombe |
