I never knew Soundcloud offered shortened URLs. Those are the first I've seen, 
or at least noticed.

Also, we didn't see what was producing this sound at night in a
different park, but there was an adult Dusky-footed Woodrat climbing in
a shrub nearby. This may have been young calling from the ground, under
something. I also heard two brief sets of drumming from up the trail,
but didn't catch that.
