Hi All, I am wondering if anyone has used the Zoom H2n for ambient nature recording= ? I film wildlife (hobby only) and have the option to be able to post edit in= Dolby 5.1 surround using Vegas Pro. All I have done so far has been in ste= reo with the camera on-board microphones or Audio Technica mic's plugged in= . For picking out a particular sound I use the M66/K6 and for in field narr= ation (not post) I use a Sony radio mic TX/RX pack. Given that the H2n can record 4 channels to give 360=B0 surround which I co= uld tweak in post I wondered if it may be of use for just the ambient surro= und in my films. Given the size I could also carry this with me most times = to get these ambient soundscapes so that I can build a library to use at a = later date in films. Thanks in advance Ron |
