I'm getting ready to invest soon in a better set of headphones for monitoring my indoor and outdoor recording sessions. I'm using a Sony PCM-M10, sometimes with internal mics and sometimes with PIP external microphones. Two headphone models are within my budget and on my short list: AKG K240 MK II - semi-closed. AKG K271 MK II - closed. The K271's cost slightly more, but other than the earpiece design they have very similar specifications. Looking for opinions one way or the other. Thanks!!! Glen Rickerd |
