> I have problem with mic foam decaying into powdery substance. I work in I= ndia and often in hot and moist places. The first decay was of telinga twin= science mic foam and later of telinga stereo dat mic foam. One of my frien= d has also the same foam. I want to know the experience of fellow recordist= s and request for any suggestions to prolong the wind foam life. Oh, polyurethane, you were so beautiful, you served our every need, we had = no idea what would happen when you got old! Urethane foam decays everywhere, but it sounds like your tropical climate a= ccelerates the process. The only cure is to replace the foam parts. -Dan |
