Hi all,

Made this recording at dawn this morning with a modified Jecklin disc array=
of my own design. I wanted a stereo soundscape including the numerous V=
aried Thrushes that are here in profusion this year. Got my wish but huma=
n sounds were almost more than I could handle. The woodpeckers did their b=
est to steal the show also. I welcome any comments about what you hear reg=
arding the recording as well as what it might convey. . I had a lot of tho=
ughts about awareness and adaptation . The wildlife I hear seems to accomm=
odate the human presence, almost ignoring it but be acutely aware of and =
react to everything and everyone else. I was concerned that setting up wou=
ld scare the birds away. No way. Guess I was the least of their concerns.
