I have recorded the surf at the Brei=F0amerkursandur in Southeast Iceland once before. It was during the summer and the sound not as aggressive as on February 23 when I and my wife were there. The waves went so far upon the shore that we didn't dare to go closer than 10 meters. Some 50 meters to the right was the mouth of the glacier lagoon and some icebreaking sounds were heard. The booming surf was threatening. The same setup as before: Rode NT-2A and a Sennheiser ME-64 in an ms-setup. Photo by El=EDn =C1rnad=F3ttir. http://hljod.blog.is Best regards, Arnthor Helgason |
