We have had a warm winter in the south of Iceland. The Brei=F0amerkursandur, Southeast-Iceland, is a magnificient place with the glaciers to the north and the Atlantic Ocean to the south. On February 23 Elin and I recorded the sounds of the streaming water from the lagoon to the sea, with the noise of the ocean to the left and the water with breaking ice infront. A Nagra Ares BB+ was used together with a Rode NT-2A and a Sennheiser ME-64 in an MS-setup. The volume of the left-channel (the Sennheiser) was reduced about 6 db to get more spreading of the sound. http://www.hljod.blog.is/users/df/hljod/files/vi_osinn.mp3 Best regards, Arnthor Helgason |
