I heard in a review I read or saw on youtube some months ago, where the per=
son felt the ls-100 was a bit clunky to use in field recordings. That perso=
n also mentioned the color screen was also not very readable in direct sunl=
ight. Those were the main issues I recall hearing about the ls-100. Other t=
han that almost all of the reviews were very favorable of the ls-100.

ich aspect of this recorder would drive me mad. If you scroll down to the s=
ection on how it performs, then the second paragraph, you find what I mean.=
What a parlava! What I particularly like about my LS-10 is that I can pres=
s the Pause button to confirm levels then Record and I'm away. I don't have=
to select a folder or go through any of the other totally ridiculous routi=
ne. Bear in mind this is only MY opinion, and is not meant as anything else=
.

here I read of these 'problems', all I remember is thinking, is I won't buy=
one then! This is typical of the way my mind, or memory, works; I don't re=
member details just essentials. I have a vague recollection it may have inv=
olved the Pause/Record buttons, but I could be completely wrong about that.=
I was about to buy one because I really liked the look of it, and had hear=
d superficially it was good, but having read this particularly detailed rev=
iew I was put off. I'll try and find the review and get back to you if I do=
.
