Hi all,
Well, I'm going to leave the battery in now and see what happens. We should=
 perhaps note here, that although the two mics visually appear the same, th=
e specs on my Superlux differed from the Sony, so the internals may not be =
identical.
My next test with this mic is to see how the stereo separation differs from=
 the internal mics. Report back later.
