Michael,

It is likely to be crosstalk from the digitiser circuit. Separating
digital noise from analogue is what separates "pro" recorders from the
"affordable". Digital circuits have peaks of several volts and a huge
frequency spectrum.

It may be resonating in headphone or power leads, so try curling these
up or moving them or using alternatives.
