Our local crop of ATV and dirt bike riders eventually grew up (temporally,
not necessarily mentally) and moved away. Such noise really irks me because
of the sound itself, but more, I think, because it displays a total lack of
concern for other people.
The inventor of the internal combustion engine has a lot to answer for. On
the other hand, who can imagine life without them?
