There's this, which is probably about as accurate (or not) as whatever the city enforcers would use: http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=12680845 Don't know if Radio Shack has branches in Australia, but there must be an equivalent local consumer electronics hobbyist shop which would carry a similar device. In the meantime, consider yourself slightly lucky, for it could be worse. I live in what was until a year ago, an extremely quiet suburb in the hills of Los Angeles. Until a rock band moved in directly across the street. They seemed to require being told that rehearsing in the garage at 2:00 in the morning was a not particularly courteous practice. Good luck.
