Hi! I have an older version of Adobe Audition that has the Fraunhofer Pro MP3 c= odecs built-in. I only use the 320 kbps setting which does a fine job of rendering audio. I use it for sending field recordings and audio (music) recordings to folks= across the web and for postings. It's so close to CD quality that I find it= very hard to tell the difference. However, for sending raw material to be mixed or analysed later, I still st= ick to WAV files. They can be huge so I try to share them using external HDDs o= n site or send DVDs via snail mail. - Greg |
