<<what bit rate would you consider acceptable for mp3 recording? >> With music recordings for artists' approval I never use less than 160kbs, t= hough for more critical sources such as string quartets I stick to 256kbs, = or uncompressed WAV. I would never use an mp3 of any data rate for any purp= ose other than a quick approval copy, which needs reduced bandwidth to get = through an email server. Scott Fraser |
