It might be of some use to someone to know that PCM recording on the PMD-67=
0 requires changing the default settings, which are as follows:
Stereo: 48 khz, 128 kbps MP2 (.mpg)
Mono: 44.1 khz, 32 kbps MP3 (.mp3)
Digital-In: 128 kbps MP2 (.mpg)
Defaults apparently for news gathering, not wildlife or soundscape recordin=
g. Probably not too many nature recordists using this machine, but obviousl=
y some folks still doing wildlife studies with it.
