Hi Tony
Hope you don't mind the prompt, I'm a little biased, as I am the secretary of
the society. If you have any questions, I will be happy to answer them.

I have a few recordings online, one at Ham Wall last year:
http://soundcloud.com/papx2/thelevels/s-vOWcJ

There are also several dawn choruses that I made for dawn chorus day last year,
on the WSRS website. There is one made on Exmoor: "Just off the moor"; an oak
woodland just outside Tiverton: "Dawn at the Rookery"; a Nightingale just
outside Taunton: "Nightingale sings" and one at Swell Wood "Heronry". All the
recordings are about an hour in length.

I had a bittern booming a few years a go at Hall Wall just feet from me, the
ground shook as is boomed. I went last Sunday, but was very disappointed, as
there was the continual throb of pumping engines no matter which direction I
faced :-(

Your recording is very good, I like it. You can hear the bittern pumping itself
up.

All the best

Paul
