Especially at higher elevations, you won't hear migrants in mid-March.

There will be Northern Cardinals, Carolina (low) and Black-capped (high) 
Chickadees, Tufted Titmice singing and calling.

Maybe American Robins singing in the evening.

If those don't excite you, I'd leave the parabola and instead try for broader 
soundscapes (evening songs, frogs (spring peepers), woodcock and the like).
