http://soundcloud.com/mijdog/2011-10-03-moloch-gibbons These are Moloch Gibbons with their young in Borneo. The silvery gibbon (Hylobates moloch) ranks among the most threatened prim= ates. It is listed as Endangered on the 2009 IUCN Red List of Threatened Sp= ecies. The gibbons and the orangutan are fast declining in Borneo, Man is destroyi= ng their habitat and planting palms for the harvesting of palm oil. Palm oi= l is found in many products now including buttery spreads, granola bars and= the like. Please be aware of the products you buy that have palm oil in th= e ingredients, Buy choosing this product you are contributing to the demise= of habitat and the very existence of these amazing animals.
