Hi Volker and Jos=E9,

Thanks for your thoughts. As I mentioned in my first post, I find the
dichotomy between man and nature oversimplified. Kant's sublime is
anthropocentric and works within this dichotomy. While some might feel it
explains the way they feel, I'm not comfortable with it.

Personally, nature recording isn't* just* about aesthetics, some recordings
can be open to many readings I think, for me, the politics of space is
mostly always present, this is touched upon by others in the soundscapes
and realism discussion.
