Never been on a mailing list like this one before. Every second message in =

On the contrary I think Kant's notion of the sublime is simplistic and has
often been proven so, In the notion of the sublime is the idea that you
must coerce 'formless' nature unless it be 'wild, crude and repulsive', I
wonder how many of you share this view.

I agree with Robin's earlier thoughts in general on this. And also as a
shorthand 'nature recording' might be useful but I think the dichotomy
between man and nature is outdated.
