Hi, I recently received the Roland R-26 and measured it's noise performance. At= the maximum sensitivity setting (-62dBu), I measured a noise level of -124= dBu(A), which is quite good for such a relatively small and inexpensive re= corder. See also http://www.avisoft.com/recordertests.htm Its built quality is not as good as the similar-sized Marantz PMD661, which= is a bit quieter, but also slightly more expensive. Regards, Raimund |
