I use a Lenmar battery pack with a USB output, the USBPre2 powers up fine from
that. Many many hours of operation.
It can also run from AC through the Lenmar pack, since the battery charger can
be hooked up to the battery at the same time that the battery is feeding power
to the USBPre2.
