Heres a demo of the Pinna related transfer function vs Head ... RTF. Two systems are used, first is using ears that are near co-incident, the se= cond is the Sennheizer MZK2002 - both using the same omni capsules and reco= rder. http://soundcloud.com/urlme/watersounds This hopefully gives some idea what you can do with capsules that approach = 80dB SNR.
