Hi... I have a Sony PCM-D50 and wind noise is a problem (for the
built in mics) in the slightest breeze. A windscreen is an absolute
necessity outdoors. I bought one from Micover and I've been pleased
with it. It works well and is well-made. Here is the relevant link:

also assume that a furry one is better than foam.

wind noise reduction for the Sony, and 30-40dB for the Rycote. Can I
believe these figures?

existing windscreen? Is this perhaps just an error, transcribed from the
notes for another recorder's windscreen?

says it's good, but falls off.
