Hi everyone,

I've been lurking on this group quite a while know and really enjoy the dis=
cussions here.
I have a little technical issue i would like to fix and was wondering if an=
yone here has had the same problem and if he or she got it resolved.
I own a Sony PCM D-50 and really enjoy it's sound(and build)quality.
Unfortunately i've been running into a nasty little problem that seems to b=
e getting worse. When i start the machine everything is fine, but after a f=
ew recorded takes the machine won't start a new take. I get the error messa=
ge 'Process error'.
I've read the manual and it says i should shut down the machine, extract th=
e batteries, put them back in and simple restart it.
This does fix the problem, alas only temporary. I've been having this issue=
with both internal and memorystick memory.

Has anyone had the same issues and got their machine fixed by Sony? Is ther=
e something i can do myself? I would hate to sent it to Sony, because i use=
it regularly and it is out of warranty (3 months...)

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance,

Arnoud Traa
