Hello, all. I'm presenting a list of recorders to a musician friend. If she needs XLR capability, I plan to present these options in order of combination of cost and quality (my ability to determine is severely limited): tascam dr 100 ($330), fostex FR-2LE ($600), marantz 661 ($600) and the marantz 660 ($500). what would you suggest? second, what do you think of the audiotranskription site for reviews? they have sound samples and two comparison reviews. I'm shocked at how badly my edirol 90hr performed, but their method seems viable. http://www.audiotranskription.de/english/firstcomparison second comparison: http://www.audiotranskription.de/english/second-comparison-2010 thank you for your help.lily |
