Unballanced (was XLR) Cable Connection

I have a similar question, except I want to run unbalance stereo plug-in-po=
wer microphones about 100' into the back yard. I plan to use a stereo mini =
to xlr 3pin adapter on each end, and use a star quad type cable for the mai=
n run. Left and Right on pins 2 and 3 of the cable. Would this work in an u=
rban area with lots of radio and RF around? What would be a better option?
